Bridging the science of the nervous system with the wisdom of somatic practice

Most of us spend a lot of time trying to think our way through things. I work with people who want to bring the rest of themselves into that conversation as well — the body, the breath, all the parts.

I'm Rachel Posner — yoga therapist and somatic educator. I work with people when talk alone isn't enough.

I'm a certified yoga therapist and yoga instructor with an MA in Counseling, and I've spent 25 years offering one-on-one sessions, retreats, group immersions, and trainings for wellness practitioners. I don't come from one tradition or one lens. I move between the clinical, the somatic, and the scientific depending on what the person in front of me actually needs.

What makes my work different is the lens I bring to it — a unique blend of nervous system regulation, self-compassion, somatic parts-work and deep-imagery. I facilitate a body/mind experience that helps you listen for what's underneath and find the answers that are already inside of you.
